Yeah when i had a keylogger it was very good, would get basically everything that was typed on the keyboard, what sites visited etc but i think it showed up on Adaware se or one of my other spyware programmes, but you may only need it installed for a day or 2 until you get his passwords then you can delete it

If you own (or co-own) the computer, then it's perfectly legal for you to install a keylogger or other surveillance software.

The keystroke logger is software you install, not hardware. The good ones don't show up in control panel, start menu or any obvious location. The one I used you had to hit a combination of keys to start it and exit it. Really cool. Didn't show up as a running application and you had to know what it was to notice it as a running process.
