I know you will have many more options for upgrading if you go with a 939.

Price isn't much difference. Go 939. 754 will be discontinued.
939 supports Dual Channel, 754 doesn't.

i was interesting in getting the Asus A8V deluxe 939 mobo, myself? would anyone recommend that board?

looks like it's a great one for the "long haul", lots of room for expandability.

I don't like asus... The MSI K8N NEO 2 Platinum imo is the best...

isn't the NEO nforce3 out now too, it's a toss up between that and the Asus mobo...

any thoughts on either?
