well i think the cpu is the most expensive thing, but at the time of release the video card costed moar.

did you not see the Response rate on that monitor? it is Extremely terrible.

My monitor was 320, my gpu was 340 so still not more expensive.

16ms isn't bad for a 57" monitor.... It isn't meant for gaming.. it's meant for business use I'm sure or home theater setups where response times mean basically nothing.

well when i made the thread, i meant inside the tower or the tower itself, or mounted to the tower.

my monitor was also more than everything else individually, but that wasnt the spirit of the question that i intended.

hmmm, i got a 5-way tie here

my case was $300 Tj10-bw
my cpu was $300 i7 920
motherboard was $300 P6T Deluxe
6GB DDR3-1600 was $300 at launch
my GPU was also 300 GTX280

my PSU could have made it at $270

My AMD 3200+ was 191 bucks. Second most are my 2x 512mb DDR400, which were 140 bucks, then my 200gb HDD was 134.
