Default SLI by Christmas!

I had been hearing that it wasn't supposed to be out until Q1 or Q2 in 2005, but I'm glad it will be here sooner! It'll give them some time to work out bugs/etc before I invest in it .

yeah that would be great what is greater is the old tech is coming back who knows maybe voodoos will be back too

Actually its pretty much new technology, but with an old name and concept. I'm sure they used the old name just to get people to associate it with that concept. They both are ways to get two video cards to work together, but it is a much different process now. SLI now stands for something different than it did 6-7 years ago or whatever it was. I can't remember exactly what, but I read an article on tomshardware (I think) that tracked "SLI" history/development.
