Hi, I have a question about sli. Im using a asus a8n sli premium mobo w/2 7800gt gigabyte cards in sli. I use my computer as a htpc and play games occasionally now that my oblivion obsession is finally over. My question is this. How much benifit is it to run both cards in 8x vs one card in 16x when watching dvd movies? Also are the mobo that have 2 16x slots that much better and does the capability to use both cards at full speed just cause a issue with the processor bottlenecking? Just trying to get a understinding on how this works. Is the 32x a function of the hardware or does the app need to use 32x to even work with that? Thanks

when watching movies it doesnt really matter, you'd get the same performance out of one 7800 with movies. The dual 16x boards wouldnt really need to come into play with what you use your computer for
