Skype Phones

I have seen these VTech skype phones for sale at work, they seem nice for $70, and they're expandable like a regular phone, but do you have to pay for the phone service, or is it totally free?

Seems too good to be true, pay $70 for a phone, and the service is free?

Skype in-between computers is free, however to call actual analog phones, you have to buy "Skype-out" credits... the only time it would be cheaper is if you're calling long distance (like, halfway across the country) or international calls.
