single or dual channel?

How can i make my ram run in dual channel mode?

In cpu-z it says it running in single channel

i have two stick of 512MB corsair XMS ddr400 ram

Assuming you have 4 dimm slots, take 1 piece and put it in the 1st dimm, then the next piece and put it in the 3rd. That should be the correct way.

1st u have to check whether your mobo got this function or not.
2nd plug in your rams in the DIMMs that have same color.

i have 1 yellow slot and 2 blue slots

it says to always have a stick in the yellow slot...so i can't put them in the same color

and i would assume the K8v se delux is dual capable

For your case, u have 2 put the two rams in the blue color DImms.
Is better for u to check the manual whether support dual channel or not. Because not every K8 support this.

none of the current amd 64's support dual channel

socket 754 is not dual channel capable

socket 939(future 64's) will be

and socket 940 (FX-51 and FX-53) is but needs registered memory
