Default **** uh oh computer problem

k guys really need some help here
my computer will no longer boot
it will turn on all fans spin cd drives makes spinning noises
then after about 5 seconds it just shuts off
is this a psu problem? my psu is a athenatech 450w power supply
and has been running my system for about 6 months without problems
i just added another set of ccfl lights and switched my uv led fans to blue led fans could this have sumthing to do with it ?

Possibly,disconnect all that you have done and connect the same like you had it before the add-ons and see if it will boot then.

well it booted last night no prob and now this morning it doesnt

I would check all the wiring just to make sure nothing has come lose.Then double check it.

[Edit] BTW please do not use fowl language in the title or in your post please.The mods will not be to happy about that.It is in the forums rules about fowl language.[/Edit]

Yeah the mods are not going to be happy


Sounds like your 4 pin molex is not plugged in

got it working now
i opened it up and unplugged like all the stuff then plugged it all in agian and it booted up fine

Atleast you didnt throw a shock and short the board or something like that.

yea, you probably had something that wasn't plugged all the way in

same thing as my hard drive

i thought my computer couldn't detect it and drove all the way to the local comp shop to find out that i didn't push the 40pin connector all the way in

lol i fixed a computer at my school
it wouldnt detect the cd drive so i popped it open pushed the cable in all the way and bam good as new
