Default Shared Video Mem

Does anyone know how to share more memory to with integrated video cards?
very interested in this.. even if it means rewriting some bios code.

Hello,

Interesting concept....I have no idea! ...and not even sure if it is possible . I don't think it would add performance to the card though, because it would have two data paths in which it has to manage in order to generate graphics...and both are of different interfaces.

In the bios, there is a setting to change the MB used to share, However, I dont believe that you will see a noticeable difference if you up it.

Almost all intergrated graphics chipsets have enough memory. Making it use more memory in most cases would just decrease system peformance overall because you would have less ram.
