Default shared grahics memory

i was wondering if there is software you can use to force a change in shared graphics memory beyond what is allowed in the bios setup utility. the only options i have are 4mb and 8mb

No, it is a limitation of the BIOS not software related. Any software you download effects Windows not the BIOS. Check and see if the system manufacturer has a BIOS update that may help you. This would only be true if you are talking about a laptop. Now if you are talking about a desktop computer then you can always get a new graphics card.

you can pick up a low-end gfx card with 64mb ram really cheaply. even if it is really low end, it will out-trump ur integrated gfx by alot.
