Which Setup?

I am going to make a few upgrades to my computer and im willing to spend around $500-$600, somewhere around there. And I was wonding which setup option you guys think I should go with, or which would show me the most improvement. Here's what I have now:

(Got these prices of Newegg.com)

Abit NF7-S Mobo
Athlon XP 2600+ 166Mhz FSB
1 GB PC3200 DDR Ram (Only runs at 2700 speeds with low FSB)
Segate 60 GB 7200 RPM HD (2 MB Buffer)
MSI GeForce FX 5600 128 MB
Sound Blaster Audigy2 Platinum
24X16X40 Lite-On CD-RW (I think those speeds are right)
Sony 16X DvD (Been having Problems)
350 Watt PSU
Raidmax Mid-Tower ATX Case

Well there is my computer now, and here are a few options I was thinking of:

New Mobo (Haven't picked a specific one yet) $120

Those were just some of the things I was thinking about doing, and I was just wanting to here some suggestions on what you think is worth doing, or if something I haven't listed is even a better option.

Should I get the FX 5700 Ultra or is it worth waiting till I can get the Evga 6800? Which is currently out of stock, I think its back ordered. Is there a different brand you guys would recommend?

hmmm, ati makes a pretty mean card, unless you wanna stick with nVidia. i would say upgrade the cpu, mobo, and vid card...or...oc the cpu and leave a little extra money left over, then you don't have to upgrade the mobo.

scratch that, number 1, didn't see that it was a 64. i would recomend the 9800Pro unless you want to stick with nVidia.

5900 Ultra.....and then they have the 5950 Ultra againest the 9800XT

i'll go with ur option #1 for sure
