Default Settings

Windows just crashes when i access the control panel directly and i noticed in some folders there are things that show up on the left toolbar like add or remove programs i can access these since i dont goto my control panel.. were else can i access windows firewall becuase it got turned on i need to turn it off.

restart ur system and see if still shows problems

else, the network icon (double monitors) u see near system clock, doule click it, click propeties > advanced, and there u'll see firewall settings, if u are on XP-SP2, then u have to click one more buttong that is settings.
