Unhappy SETA Hard drive

I recently bought a seta hard drive, only now do I realise that I do not know how to set it as my primary hard drive it is not detected by my PC (in the BIOS screen) the only way I can use it is to use a partial RAID array and use my old hard drive as a conduit, this as I'm sure you can see is inefficient at best. I would welcome any advice.
