Server?

I've got a spare computer I want to use as a server to host websites or games off of. How do I go about doing that?

Google is your friend, also what OS an have a end use in mind.

My next server is basically going to be a MS exchange server but I am currenty working on a web server (linux based), you also need to know if your ISP will let you host a server most don't a simple phone call can do that.
