Default Serial ATA

I have recently been looking at 64 bit processor mobos. I want to get Serial ATA, but I have heard that there is a new Serial ATA coming out which is faster. Will it pay to wait and get the newer faster Serial ATA or is the old one good enough?

Well, the new SATA's speed is 3GBps which is twice that of the currently used SATA's 1.5GBps. So if you want the most speed from your SATA devices go with the new SATA.
