Sell Current, get NEW...
This is my current comp specs:

P4 2.66 GHZ Processor
80 GB Hard Drive
Broadcom NetXtreme Gigabit Ethernet Card
SoundMAX Integrated Digital Audio
NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200
PS/2 Compatible Mouse

I use it primarily for gaming, and just the regular web surfing....

My question is should I sell this computer, get around 1000-1500, and buy a better "gaming computer". For instance, emphasize more on the video card than the hard drive, you know what I mean?

Your computer is pretty good as it is. I would just get a new video card and keep everything else.

See I donno...For a gamer that primarily plays Counter-Strike and Day of Defeat, whats a card better than 5200, but not too expensive. Is there one out there that will give me that extra ::umph:: in my gaming, but not cost too much more?

Good work Sir Placebo of England. You do good work.

P.S. I just saw your pic in the thread you started. I wouldn't imagine you like that. It's weird you think people look different when you try and imagine them by reading their posts..

Are you definately going to get a GeForce FX? Personally I prefer Radeons. The Radeon 9600 would be a great buy.

Placebo, it's hard to explain, but if I were to imagine you before I saw your pic, it would look something like this...

And aye, what are the major differences between GForce, and Raedon..??
