This is my current comp specs:

P4 2.66 GHZ Processor
1 GB RAM
80 GB Hard Drive
Broadcom NetXtreme Gigabit Ethernet Card
SoundMAX Integrated Digital Audio
NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200
PS/2 Compatible Mouse

I use it primarily for gaming, and just the regular web surfing....

My question is should I sell this computer, get around 1000-1500, and buy a better "gaming computer". For instance, emphasize more on the video card than the hard drive, you know what I mean?

Your computer is pretty good as it is. I would just get a new video card and keep everything else.

See I donno...For a gamer that primarily plays Counter-Strike and Day of Defeat, whats a card better than 5200, but not too expensive. Is there one out there that will give me that extra ::umph:: in my gaming, but not cost too much more?

Are you definately going to get a GeForce FX? Personally I prefer Radeons. The Radeon 9600 would be a great buy.
