Seems a bit slow.

Just built myself a brand new computer, nothing went wrong on the building or XP install here are the specs:

AMD Athlon XP 3800+ X2 (Installed the AMD drivers for windows xp and THEN installed the nVidia chipset/graphics drivers)

nVidia Geforce 6800GT

Asus a8n-e Motherboard

Seagate 7200 RPM (did a drive file system check, no bad sectors on it)

1.5 Gigs of unbuffered memory modual (value select ram) (in 512MB forms) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820145026

2 DVD drives, but the games i play have nothing to do with the drives, ANYWAYS.

The computer comes out to 4935 on 3dmarks05, which compared with most other systems seems a tiny bit slow, anyone know if there may be a driver conflict or something of that sort (do not use the CnQ function so its not that)

Would nortan Antivirus running while 3d is slow it down/scuew the results?

Might just be me, but I think that is a normal score for a system with those specs.

you sure, maybe it is, didnt think so though ah well, hehe, anyways, is it normal to defrag your HD about 3-4 times in the first few days of getting it? lol seems like ive done it 4 times now.
