Question SCSI vs SATA

SATA's:
Average Latency: 2.99ms
Average Seek Time: 4.5ms
Average Write Time: 5.9ms

SCSI:
Average Latency: 3ms
Average Seek Time: 4.1ms
Average Write Time: 4.5ms

while SCSI's do cost more I'm wondering if they're better than getting a SATA Raptor or whatnot...any opinions would be good.

And please no flames

SCSI would be better, but you would also need to get a SCSI card, which are very expensive.
