I have just realized that my performance has went downhill on my scsis. I am using the only cable that i could get my hands on at work, it is an 8 device cable with a terminator on the end. It is rated lvd ultra 160. so are my drives and card.
now the question.
For better performance, should i put my drives closer to the mobo on the chain, or should i put them on the end near the terminator. I have tried both and the systems seems sluggish. When i boot, the icons are blank, and takes like 10 secs for them to pop up
