Default scroll mouse

When I use my scroll mouse it sometimes tends to go from top of page to bottom of page even if I scroll the mouse one or two notches. Does anyone know how to stop this from happening? Any help is greatly appreciated.

This sounds like something in the mouse itself, but I will take your word for it that it isnt. So...it just jumps from the top of the page to the bottom? If that is the case and it isnt a mouse problem then it must be FF. However I have never heard of Fire Fox having callibration for mouses...
