I wan to run my virus scan in scheduled tasks every morning at 10AM but what i need help with is what do i do to make it shutdown after it is done?

no the screensaver is really glitchy in all windows versions. sometimes at idle a program tries to access the internet or hard disk for whatever reason and the computer wakes up on accident.

to do what you want use task scheduler to schedule a system shutdown at your specified time. i know this works on winxp. if win9.x doesn't allow this try a free program called switchoff from here:
