Hi Everyone! I have a question about scanners! I got a tablet pc for school. I want to start scanning my textbooks to use on it. What type of scanner do you suggest for doing this? I don't want an expensive one. Just one that I can scan large books on. The scan quality does not have to be perfect. Thanks in advance!

I use an old HP scanjet 4470c flatbed scanner that works great for me. Here's one at ebay as of this date (06/16/06) that you can choose using the 'BUY IT NOW' option for about $18 plus shipping.

all-in-one printers are much better, because you can directly scan and print at the same time without a PC.

Do they have any for around $20.00 plus shipping? Lol... Yes they ARE better. Also, because some of those have document feeders that actually work when scanning multiple pages.

Basically this is sort of illegal since its the same thing as copying dvds.
I know what your are trying to do.

The process is basically to copy ever single page of the book, keep the illegal copy, and sell the real book for almost full price on ebay....
