Sata2

My motherboard has 4 SATA1 ports and 4 SATA2 ports. both my HDDs are on the SATA1 ports atm but i was wondering if there would be any advantage or even if it would work to put them onto the SATA2 ports? or is there newer disks availble that are designed to be SATA2?

I doubt it would help you at all, and I'm pretty sure there are no SATA2 hd's out there yet.

There still isn't a single hard drive that sustains the speed of ATA 100 yet.
