SATA1 OR SATA2 as boot?

Which is the boot SATA? SATA1 or SATA2? I have my WD 78 Raptor on SATA1 and my WD 160 CAVIAR on SATA2. I want my 78 Raptor to be the boot drive though. Is the SATA1 the boot SATA port? I have them set up on my motherboard Via Ports.

May seem like a dumb question, but when i press tab to view the drives in my bios it lists the WD raptor below my WD Caviar. I thought this was odd. Is it normal for it to be like this? This is the reason i made this thread.
