I have on order a new 1000 rpm 74 gb sata. I want to set it up as the primary HD, as i know the sata has to be the primary, and my current IDEk HD to be the slave drive. How do I do it? Do I simply connect it up and hope it will go? I've seen quite a few people having an issue with this problem. Does it matter that I have 2 cd drives? I've heard people connection those in parralel..I'm just not sure what to do. Do i need to simply have auto select the IDE in the BIOS as a slave or something? Or if their are jumers involved, how do i know what to change them to? Pleae help...
