Default SATA plugin

Hey guys, on my motherboard it has 4 sata plugins labeled 1, 2, 3, 4. Would the speed of the HDD be affected depending on where it is plugged in, or for best results I should switch it to number 1? As of right now in the BIOS it says it is the Primary SATA plugin.

P.S. it is SATA - II

To answer your question the Speed is not affected by the location it is plugged in.

Your CMOS Says that because it is the only SATA Drive connected currently.
