lol if you figure out let me know. I read over it and I'm tempted to try it myself now, but yeah it's still a little confusing for me as I've never done it before =/

use the maxblast 3 (came with the maxtor drive or you can download the .iso file from the website) or partition magic to copy your windows files to the sata drive. since maxtor drive come with raid card, they should notice the sata connection. make sure sata is enable in your bios if it is on the mobo.

when maxblast 3 is done and shuts off the computer. disconnect the ide drive. boot the comp up. the sata drive should load. shut it off and hook the maxtor back up. now if it load over the sata, use PQ boot or another bootmanager to boot to the sata drive. when it boots to the sata, delete the maxtor drive (right click the drive and select format)
