Default sata hd info!

hello guys,
i have been looking around the pc stores for a sata hd. but i don't see none or i don't know what to look for. the guy at circuit city just gave a me a blank look when i ask him for a sata hd. could somebody please help me find an image of a sata hd. so i know what to look for. also what is the price range. thanks.

SATA and PATA disks look almost the same. the only way to tell is by looking at the back of the drive. bestbuy and circuit city would not normally carry SATA. you will have to order it online or by mail.

If you have any issues with them don't feel like you are alone. I am currently going through hell with my 120 Serial ATA drive.

Not all will be like this of course....mine is 90% chance of being the on-board Serial ATA controller.

If you call it a SATA drive you will get blank stares by some. Serial ATA is what they should know.......:-)
