Default SATA drive requirements


just wanted to expand my storage space and am not sure if my computer can handle a SATA drive (my computer specs are below)
or does anyone know the specs required for a SATA drive

You need a SATA controller. Lookup the specs of your Inspiron 2650 and check if it supports SATA.

You need to know what motherboard you have. Post it here or check on newegg to see if it has SATA controller
Samsung QX410 notebook <-- lol, I'm always on the go these days :(
