Default SATA Adapters

I want to use a couple serial ata adapters on my system, but want to make sure that they will be compatible.

My motherboard is an Abit KV7

Hard drive one is a western digital 13 GB ATA 66
Hard drive two is a Maxtor 120 GB ATA 133

I am asking because all the specs on any serial ata adapter I can find say it is made for ATA 100 and 133. Does it really not work on an ATA 66 drive, or are they just not listing it.
