the 9800 and the 6600 are both really good cards, I would also recommend the 6600 at $220

personally I don't like XFX
they don't make very good heatsinks for them; I saw an FX5200 made by XFX compared to another, not sure what brand, but it had a smaller heatsink, but it actually cooled better than the XFX heatsink

I would try and get eVGA, BFG or Albatron

Well First, i dont know about the 6600 GT cause i need a VGA slot and also im not buying ATI regular because everywhere it is its out of stock thats also counting ATI.com lol. i need a good card like 6600 GT but with VGA and DVI.

if you dont like the fx cards look at the 9800xt or x800

i got my saphire radeon 9600 xt 256 mb's for 160 canadian it runs hl2 on high with no lag. So prob the 9800 would be a great choice.

XFX is the only brand that makes the 6600GT in AGp at this time, well unless you count that one off brand.

if i get the XFX 6600 GT 500/1000 128mb Video card it has Dual DVI but will the video card come with a connector which a VGA go into DVI thru a connector. im not exactly sure what its called.
