im thinking about buying the Sapphire ATI radeon 9800 Pro 128mb Video card it has VGA+DVI+TV/Svideo its not a top of the line video card but i heard reviews from Newegg that it runs Doom3 on high and plays all the other new games. and its pretty cheap its 229 at tigerdirect was gonna get card there and buy the rest of my computer parts at Newegg. has anyone used this card befor?

Its a great card, I have it my self, and it runs HL2 like a charm. It was less than 209 when I bought it tho.

Like a month ago it was only $185 on newegg. I say you wait for prices to drop... or maybe consider getting this- http://www.newegg.com/app/viewProduc...150-080&depa=0
It has much newer technology and is faster .

if u r getitng 6600 at this price (look for the manufacturer as well), then i'll recommend it 10 times more than 9800 pro.
