Unhappy sapphire ATI 9800 pro VS asus 9600xt

is there a big difference in performance between the two.... i just got the 9600 xt for the video edittin prog and ability.... pros cons if you guyz know

Yeah, the 9800 pro is faster.

The 9800 has 8-pixel pipeline architecture, the 9600 only has 4. this makes a fair difference at high resolutions.

The 9800 Pro is obviously better, but for just video editing and not gaming, I don't think its a big difference to kick yourself over

9800 pro

Thread we posted on that is similar

Like they said above wouldnt sweat it and wouldnt ditch the 9600xt for a 9800pro now.

9600 XT is better for the money
9800 Pro performs better, but doesn't overclock or underclock itself when neccesary - XT models do this
