Hey guys!
Today I just downloaded Sandra a performance and benchmarking tool. But some of the messages that have come up I don't know how to fix. I did a system "check up," and it says this about my new video card...
- Device latency is high- The device may be hogging the bus for too long. Some video card drivers set the latency high in order to perform faster. The problem is that other devices (especially sound cards, network) wonÂ’t have enough time to transfer their data resulting in lower performance (e.g. sound drop outs, lockup). Generally, all devices should have latency of 32, with high performance devices (e.g. video card, disk, giga-LAN) with 64 and AGP to 128. That may be whats causing my sound to mess up when I play America's army. And maybe this is what's making my ping high since I connect through a lan... But I can't find PCI latency in my bios. So what's the problem? And what is AGP aperature? I have it set at 256mb since my card is a radeon 9600xt 256mb.

-Eric
