This HDTV has 8ms response time, which is perfectly fine for games...

And there are only like 4 CRT HDTVs ...

You got that right. But CRT flat-screen's are so clear.

Are we talking about TV's or monitors here? Because almost any CRT monitor can display HD resolutions.

couple things you'll want to know:

you probably wont get ghosting because of the 8ms response time. i've got that time on my 20.1" and its fine playing high speed fps's.

there are 2 kinds of HD. 768p and 1080p
1080p, 768i is true high def. The one you'r looking at is 768p, 1080i which is a rip off imo. ps3 and 360 run at 1080p so your tv will be interpreting the image and cutting down the quality.
