hello
i have a MSI NEO 848p motherboard its comes with an ability called "Dynamic over clocking" there are a lot of options in BIOS concerning this i want know if i can get a visible speed boost with this without risking All the system.
P4 2.8 GHZ
RAM 256MB 333
Geforce4 MX 4000

if any one tried this before please help im new to overclocking

That P4 2.8GHz is a socket 478. If you have the stock Fan and Heatsink on that CPU, I wouldn't recommend attempting any OCing. If you upgrade the FAN & HS you could. That CPU is stable up to 3.4GHz. The Dynamic overclocking Utility from MSI is pretty good.

what do u mean by heatsink?? is it the product that we put on the cpu before we install the fan??

where can i get that heatsink is there any good brands
about the RAM its not my priority in this time

Your ram will bottleneck and you wouldnt likely see the difference between your 2.8 and intel's top end processor

oh so i have to change ram too..
my board only have 2 RAM slots may be ill get a 512MB ram with my 256 MB to end the ram problem for a long time
