Default S Video Card

What exactly do you use a S video card for????? is it just to watch videos off your camcorder or can you dl from your camcorder to your pc with a S video card.

No you can plug it in to anything with a svideo port. Most newer tvs have s-video. If you have an Svideo OUT port on your video card you can hook it up to your tv and use that as a monitor. If you have software for vid capture you can record off of your TV.

i use ulead studio, but there is free software. do a search at download.com for video capture. Pinnacle studio is pretty good also.
