router help plz

hello everybody im just wondering if i could get some help with my router.

im just curious how i set it up and configure it. i am going to be using two computers, with a cable modem.

the router is a linkskys model: BEFSR41

im running on windows xp

if any other info is needed let me know

don't enter a user name

enter "admin" as the password and away you go

Actually, the default gateway can be different, it's not the same for every user. Goto start -> run -> cmd -> type in "ipconfig". There it will show you your default gateway, type the IP into the web broswer just like it is. You'll then be at the login page for your router. This is your default login: The default login is blank and the password is "admin".

I'm in the same pickle..... I lost my manual to my dlink wireless router, I know the ip adress, the username is admin but I don't know the password. Does anyone know it?
