i need to get a 108mbps system goin and right now i have a Netgear Wireless Cable Modem Gatway. do i need to get a router that says 108mbps? and if so, do i hook it up by connecting the modem gateway to the router with an ethernet cable? then will i have 108mbps???

what in the name of tech-gods do you NEED 108mbps for?! anyways, if the modem is wireless, then you must have a wireless card in your computer......the route i would go would be to get a standard cable modem and then a wireless router which the modem would be plugged into.
