Hi

I know someone who has a 5 year old gateway with win 98 and 128mb of sdram....pc100

he was told that generic ram may not work.. might have to use factory ram.he ordered 128mb of regular ram from tiger direct.will it work?

Tiger Direct... yick... the only place i will buy my memory from is Crucial. I have not heard too many good reviews of Tiger direct. Most people don't understand there's only a handful of tier one level RAM makers... all the others are just boil down to resellers.
