They are usually one sided, but dont have to be. They are the old 72 pin ram

that stuff is anique now the old 30pin sticks are beyond antique. If you have any hold on to it for a few more years. They will become collectors items and since most of us just chucked em they are getting pretty rare

But with technology, no one wants it - maybe consoles, but with PC's you can do it on a modern machine.
