Default Rimm? ram

if i load the bios on my dads dell, and go on memory, it says there is memory in Rimm? slot 1. is this the dell propriatry ram that old dell used to use? the dell is about 3 yrs old.

nope that is a failed standard. Supposed to be very fast and efficient but due to the price per stick it failed to catch on.
