Yeah, when you compare screenshots of DirectX 10 games using DirectX 10 vs DirectX 9.0c, you almost never see an actual difference, unless you look REALLY hard.

but, seeing as how Windows 7 is much better liked in general than Vista on release, perhaps it might be what DirectX 11 needs to take off.

And probably what would happen is that for some games like Crysis you can emulate those effects.... if DX10 acted as well as it did on FC2 (where it increased performance, DX10 would have really been received better)

^huh? I meant that on other forums and talking with friends if you ever get on the subject of Armageddon someone says something like that (ex. why did someone attempt to divide by zero)

Also what airplane reference?
