Hi all ...
I've been having allsorts of grief with my computer, so now finally dell have agreed to replacing the tower system.
They are asking for the old system to be returned (tightwads) however the problem i have with this is hard drive.
It was revealed not too long ago, that people like dell format old drives and sell or send out reconditioned systems to the public at large.
My issue is that i coach a youth football team, therefore have personal delicate information stored on this drive, and as we all know, if someone wants to retrieve information, its easy enough to do, with the right software.
Is there a legal standpoint on this, and help would be greatly recieved ! !
