Hi have bough one of this rip off computers four years ago that you buy from a shop.

The only good thing about it is that has a restore CD, I believe that has got an image store on the hard drive so when I need to do a clean reinstall I donÂ’t have to install the OS and Drivers that came build in.

So my question is how do I make one of this Restore CDS? On My New Home Build PC.

Is it hard? What program would I need?

I notice when I use the restore CD (Old PC) to make a clean reinstall it shows a blue screen cleaning the hard drive, and I notice Norton Ghost on it.

I am running Windows XP Pro. I just donÂ’t want to have to install drivers for the graphics card sound modem ETCÂ…for every time I do a clean Hard Drive format.

Hope someone can help me

Peace....

Run sysprep then use Norton Ghost or similiar program to make a disk image of your hard drive which will have your drivers, etc.

hi and thanks for your info

but just wondering, is here a website that explains what drivers should i backup, etc... or how to use it?

Peace...
