Hello!
I was wondering if the current graphics cards support rendering to a 51' widescreen HDTV with a HDMI input (or any HDTV with HDMI for that matter). Particularly a GeForce6800 Ultra. I know it has dual DVI outputs and HDMI is backwards compatibile with DVI. Would I be able to achieve that with a DVI-to-HDMI cable?
Thanks for any info!

Most video cards suport hdtv without an adapter other than the one that comes with the card. If i doesn't come with one and there isn't an ouput for hdtv, you can just get a dvi to hdtv adapter because both of those kinds of signals are digital.

The card I'm getting does come with a HDTV cable. I just wanted to make sure that they will both work, since the only truly digital input my TV has is HDMI. I don't really care about a composite output from the card as long as I can connect the card to the TV with DVI-HDMI.
Thanks very much, I guess I can buy that cable now!
