reformatting

i might reformat because ive been noticing that my systems slowing down and im running out of hd space.

when i first got my computer , nero (a cd burning program) was already installed on the system. It never came with a backup cd for it neither.

i was wondering how do i copy it so ill still have it after i reformat.

Find the CD key you have. then download the trial after you have formated, and put in the CD key. this should give you the full version

where do i find the cd key?

i dont use nero any more, maybe tools help?

Open Nero StartSmart, on the bottom right, click on the flame, then there should be a tab "Serial Numbers".

I have another question- What are all these audio codecs and video codecs? do i have to install them too after the reformatting?
