Well I just bought a 80gig HD. And I tried to install it on the current rig I have. But for some reason when I try to boot my windows98 bootdisk my computer doesn't read my floppy drive. (But it really does :/ its just being a pain.) So I said screw it and I installed it on my old rig (233mhz) but at least it could read my bootdisk. So I installed my windows98 SE and moved the HD to my other rig with win. on it. So when I installed it as my master it would boot windows but with errors at the begining and crud like that. I'm not sure what the problem is but I think the HD thinks my current rig has the motherboard of the 233MHZ comp. But my question is, how can I just erase everything from the HD and make it fresh again. (I've tried doing it from C:/ and it doesn't work in DOS.) Please tell me I didn't spend 80$ on nothing. Any questions on the problem or question just ask.
