Yes it is, I think it well worth the money, but when I bought the card 20 months ago it was 40$.

This is a great video card. You have the option of three different levels in the mpeg1 and mpeg2. You can record to dvd drive and many different file qualities. It is a very good card and suggest any one to look into it.

KornNut, if you want the card I suggested because of all the features you could look for it on www.pricewatch.com or wait for newegg to get it in stock. I dont think it takes too long for them to get a new shipment, they move a lot of product.

Yeah, it takes one pci slot and a line-in from your sound card. The tv tuner has a line out that needs be connected to your sound card.
